I’ve been busy on a new workshop and will be delivering it in Manchester in January 2020. It’s about how we can use humour and improv in the sales process. I’ve read tons of books on sales for my own business. The excellent ‘To Sell is Human’ by Dan Pink, and recently released ‘Humor That Works’ by Drew Tarvin combined with my own learning from stand up comedy, form the basis of this session.
This workshop addresses face to face networking skills, fostering better client relationships and overcoming the fear of rejection when pitching.
Comedian and improv coach John Cooper will cover how we can use appropriate humour, avoid sales scripts and get more effective results in a way that is human and fulfilling. This is an active workshop, with practical exercises;
Improve face to face networking
Foster better client relationships
Understanding and using appropriate humour.
Overcoming fear of rejection
