Got Married at the Manchester Comedy Store (actually registry office)
Travelled Round the World (on honeymoon) – Danny Pensive visits Australia and the wild West USA
No Edinburgh this year, but Danny Pensive appeared at a few festivals including Kendal Calling, Galtres and Farmer Phils in Shropshire.
Won the Cofilmic Sketch writing Competition.

2011

x2 tour supports June and October- round wales and Scotland – been at 99 Theatres including Kingston Rose and West Yorkshire Playhouse and the South Bank Udderbelly

April – Wales speeding ticket, Speed awareness course.

2009

Started Blogging for SFX the Sci-fi Magazine website.
Doctor Who convention at FAB Cafe, interviewed Fraser Hines (Jamie McKrimmon), Mark Strickson (Turlough) and Colin Baker, the sixth doctor.
My first corporate gig. It was awful.
Appeared in a Cadburys Clusters commerical with Ted Robbins. It was shot in a shopping centre in Preston, but never used.
Car got broken into, crime solved with phlem sample.
Last minute to close Cheltenham Greenbelt Festival . First festival closing gig.

2008

Meet Gareth , landlord of the Lass O’Gowrie and fellow doctor who fan. First Vworp! Doctor Who mini-Convention takes place.
Met Andy Crane on his radio show, and appear as a talking head on various BBC Radio Manchester shows

30 year itch Edinburgh Show
Appeared on BBC2’s the speaker, talking about storytelling in comedy.

2007

Pensive Video Diaries begin with Brighton
Went to the annual Comedysportz in Quad cities, performing in New York, off, off, off Broadway. Quad cities has a 2am curfew.
Accidentally support Dara O’Braian
July – Met John Cooper Clarke
Nov – Danny Pensive videos on ‘4 Laughs’, the short lived Channel 4 website.

2006

Joined Comedysportz improve troupe

Start performing as ‘Danny Pensive’. Mainly as a writing exercise.

Finalist in City Life comedian of the year, came 3rd.
Leicester festival show, suffers much technical difficulty.
‘John Cooper reconstituted’. Free Show at the comedy balloon. winner, Technically demanding, but all comes off a treat.
Plan to do the show at Zumeba, but the venue was sold 1 week before the festival.

2005

Represented by Gag Reflex, a new agency in Manchester.

Move to Manchester and go ‘professional’.

Giggle and Funk at Zumeba, my weekly MC’ing gig
First attempt at a full show at Manchester Comedy Festival, no one shows.
